The Reverend Jim Jones & People's Temple Cordially Extends To You This...

Invitation

The People's Temple cordially extends to you an invitation to attend its uni-centennial this year, to be held on December 7, in Death Valley, California.

Communion, consisting of Koolaid and crackers, will be held for all true believes at the close of the picnic, compliments of Rose Hills Memorial Gardens.

As this is a family affair, we encourage all, from infants to invalids, to attend. One way plane tickets are available through our travel bureau.

Our full time recreational director has scheduled a day sure to please all. Starting at 1:00 PM we'll have our "chug-a-lug" contest, followed by (naturally!) our ever popular "Bobbing for Antidote" routine. Next on the schedule is our "Sack Race" where we test the survivors to see who can run fastest while dragging one of the dead losers from the "chug-a-lug" contest in a sack. And of course, the final game to wrap up the festivities will be the "Pin The Tag On The Toe" game.

Our music this year will be provided by The Grateful Dead, which will perform such Christian hits as "When We All Get To Heaven- Tomorrow" and also "I Gave My Life For Thee" as well as the classic "Prepare To Meet Thy God- NOW"

So please, make out your vacation plans (and wills) early. Get a head start on heaven. Knock on heaven's door- come to our festival!!!
