Know Evidence, Know Belief.  NO Evidence, NO Belief!!!

Dear Christian:

Your God is omnipotent, so strong and enormous?

He’s even bigger than the Stratasaurus?

He can do ANYTHING, even part the Red Sea?

Make the sun go backwards, or resurrect me?

 

Then why can’t he come down,

To answer a small request,

For it’s my soul on the line,

For which Jesus gave His best.

 

Jesus offered the doubting Thomas,

Proof he couldn’t deny,

“Stick your hands into my bleeding wounds,

and your doubt I’ll satisfy.”

 

Well, IF God is fair, and treats all the same^#1,

I’m only asking for equal treatment, in Jesus’ name.

If he showed Thomas, proof he couldn’t deny,

My soul’s of equal importance, I demand the same for my eyes!

My Prayer:

Come down right now, you all-powerful god,

It’s not a task too difficult, nor a request too odd.

You want me to be a Christian, and for you maybe even die?

All I’m asking for is PROOF, right here, right now, before my very eyes.

 

Treat me the same as your doubting Thomas,

don’t play favorites with your kids.

Come on down, you all-powerful god,

Or…  is it a task too big?

 

You claim you can do anything,

and that you are always fair.

Then do for me what you did for Thomas,

Or… are the claims all “hot air”?

 

Or are you simply a wimp, or maybe you don’t care,

Maybe you’re not strong enough, fair enough,

Hell!  You’re not even there!!!

So what have I been doing?

Just talking to thin air!!!

There!  I tried your “gawd,” he is a fraud,

i do not like him here, i do not like him there,

now Christian,  take your “green eggs & ham”

and get your religion out of my hair!

And while you’re at it, take your BIBLE with its BABEL,

and shove it – way up there!!!
