The Mormon Church (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints) has its panties in a bind. It seems that science once again has set up a brick wall and theology has run smack dab into the middle of it. Modern DNA research has totally, completely, and forever disproved the very foundations of the Mormon Church.

You see, the Mormon religion is founded upon the belief that the American Indians ("Native Americans") are actually Jewish, having come here just a few hundred years before Jesus was born. Of course the evidence for this has been.... underwhelming. Mormon scholars have searched frantically for almost two hundred years to find any evidence that might back this up: ancient synagogues, ancient bagel shops, ancient travel routes leading from New York state to Miami Beach, but nothing of substance has arisen to support their theory.

In contrast to all this NON-evidence, there now arises a speeding bullet train of proof that blows away the Mormon theory. Amazingly enough, it shows that the Native Americans came not from Israel, but rather from North Eastern Asia. The obvious physical similarities between Asians and Native Americans, which has been known for hundreds of years has now been confirmed at the DNA level.

Naturally, when this proof came from a MORMON scientist, the church's first reaction was to kick his ass out of the church! It was persecute Galileo all over again- kill the messenger, and hope the message goes away. The Mormon Church has since seen the light- not the light of new revelation, but the light of massive bad publicity. Oh, how these religions long for the days when they could do what they damn well please and no one would find out! Damn free speech and the internet!!!

For all the facts on this unique development, I provide a link to an off-site Christian web site. The man the church wanted to excommunicate, Thomas Murphy, as well as others, give their side of the story in online videos.

MY PREDICTION:  One might think that such concrete evidence would have the Mormons rushing the local U-Haul dealers in Salt Lake City in order to move out of Mormonville. Nothing could be further from the truth. Fact is, the VAST majority of Mormons (just like the VAST majority of Christians) don't give a rats ass about stuff like "facts" and "truth". Hell, Joseph Smith himself could come back from the dead and denounce the entire scam, and it wouldn't dent the membership roles. People stay in Mormonism and Christianity NOT because these religions are true, but because of other factors: good for the kids, tradition, no where else to go, don't know any better. Mormonism will march on just like nothing happened.
