Modern science is showing more and more "sins" to be
biological
in origin, and NOT "moral choices". This presents a quandary
for Christians: how can Biblegod justly roast somebody's ass in hell
for all eternity for something over which they had no
control??? Burning someone
in hell for having been born a certain way is as unjust as frying them
for having been born left handed, blue-eyed and Jewish. You may as well get
angry
at roses for having thorns.

New York City's most famous gay penguin couple has
split up. Even worse, one of them has taken up with a female penguin
new to the Central Park Zoo, the New York Post reports. Silo and
Roy, two male chinstrap penguins native to the South Atlantic, made
local headlines six years ago when they came out with their
same-sex relationship. Since then, the pair have
successfully hatched and raised an adopted chick — after trying to
incubate a rock — and become role models for six other
same-sex couples among penguins at the zoo.

Biblegod clearly condemns people to hell for things over which they have no
control, such as being born gay. This "Divine Wrath" against gays makes as much
sense as yelling at a rose for having been "born" with thorns. Do Christians
really think that Jesus would yell and curse at plants that weren't the
way he wanted, seeing how (according to Christian theory) he is the one who
created them that way in the first place? That doesn't make much sense. (Come to

) Condemning people (or cussing out plants) for things over which they
have no control is unjust, unfair, and just plain dumb- even if Jesus himself
did it.
As for being gay, study after study has shown that gayness has biological
roots. For example, a study conducted in Stockholm, Sweden, and published in the
Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences,
...put gay men into a brain-scanning machine and saw that the region of
the anterior hypothalamus became activated when the men were given male sex
hormones to smell. Heterosexual men showed more brain activity in
this region when smelling odors associated with female
hormones... The brains of the homosexual men showed similar responses
to that of heterosexual women when sniffing testosterone... The study
shows that there is a neurobiological difference between gay and straight
men." (Los Angeles Times, p. A-12, 5/10/05)
That is, one has as much choice in the matter as one has over his DNA code or
if he's born left or right handed. In spite of all the well documented
scientific research, Christian dogma demands that Fundies continue to think that
being heterosexual or homosexual is just a personal choice. According to the
Christians, sixteen year old Billy wakes up one morning and decides
willy-nilly what's going to give him erections from now on, as if any sixteen
year old boy has any control over where, when, how or why he gets an erection.
For Christians to teach that any of us have control over what turns us on is
just plain stupid and out of touch with reality (which, come to think of it,
Christianity usually is). Some men get horny at the sight of a naked man, most
men don't, but neither group has any choice in the matter.
Use your own common sense in this matter, and you'll see how stupid and out
of touch with reality the Christian belief is. For example, some men get horny
only for skinny blonds with suntans, others only for red heads with pasty white
skin, others only for chunky brunettes, yet others for only Asians, yet others
only for... you get the point. None of us has a choice over what turns us on,
but the Fundies disagree with this. But you can prove they are wrong. Take a
straight Fundy, and strip him naked, and put him on stage in front of the
congregation. Then parade a bunch of naked gay men, sexy in a gay way, in front
of him, and offer him $10,000 to get an erection. Try as he might, it
won't happen. The reason it won't happen is the same reason women can't rape
men- men can't control what will or won't give them an erection, in spite of
what Christian doctrine says. Sexual orientation is something you are BORN with,
and no amount of money or threats can make a man get a hard-on over something
that doesn't turn him on. If Christians would pull their heads out of their own
asses they'd be able to see this. But as long as they keep their heads up their
ass, it's very dark in there, and it's hard to see things clearly.
Once again, as has happened time and again in the last several hundred years,
there is a battle between science and religion. Every single battle has
ALWAYS been won by science, with religion ending up looking like a backwards
retard. In this latest battle, over the causes of sexual orientation, the
religionists will, as always, lose. At what point in history will the
religionists stop pitting their ancient myths against scientific fact?
Fundy Christians HATE gay men with such a passion, but what in the hell are
they going to do about the gay sheep??? According to the newspaper:

that mate only with other rams have different brain structures from "straight"
sheep, a finding that may shed light on human sexuality, U.S. researchers (at
Oregon Health & Science University) said Monday. "In a sense we

Even National Geographic is reporting that homosexuality and bisexuality is
NOT UNCOMMON in animals. Part of what they cite is:

bats, dolphins, and orangutans. Zoologists are discovering that homosexual
and bisexual activity is not unknown within the animal kingdom. Roy and

inseparable for six years now. They display classic pair-bonding
behavior—entwining of necks, mutual preening, flipper flapping, and the
rest. They also have sex, while ignoring potential female mates.

It seems even the animal kingdom has its gays and straights- what a quandary
THIS is going to throw Christian theology into! Were these sheep "turned" gay by
gay wolves dressed in sheep's clothing? How will this impact the fact that Jesus
likens his followers to sheep? Were the penguins seduced by the fine tuxedo's?
Once again, as science advances, religion will retreat further and further into
its corner, barring its fangs against the world like cornered hamsters in a
humorously ineffective defensive position.
Once again, we see the "just" Biblegod doing something that modern science
has shown is actually MOST unjust- condemning people for the genetic code they
were born with. Biblegod may as well send roses to hell for having thorns.
Gluttony
Gluttony turns out to be yet another "sin" that may be be genetically based.
According to an Associated Press article,
Binge eaters who say they can't help it may be right. A study suggests a
weak gene, not feeble willpower, may be the cause for some people. The
research may point the way to a future pill to tame their appetites.#1
Just think of it- according to the Bible, gluttony is a sin, but scientists
may soon have a pill to cure gluttony, therefore scientists may soon have a pill
to cure a sin! Not the "blood of Jesus", not the mysterious work of the holy
spook- just good old American drugs! The article goes on:
The joint Swiss-German-American study makes the strongest case yet that
genetic mistakes can cause an eating disorder, researchers say. Traditionally,
eating behavior has been viewed as complex and cultural in its causes.
...researchers focused on a gene linked to obesity in earlier studies. Known
as the melanocortin 4 receptor gene, it makes a protein by that name that
helps stimulate appetite in the brain's hunger-regulating hypothalamus. If a
mutated gene makes too little protein, the body feels too much hunger. The
researchers considered 469 severely obese white adults. About one-fourth of
them were binge eaters, but among the 5 percent with the mutated gene,
ALL
were binge eaters.
So it appears that bad genes, over which none of us has any control, can
cause binge eating. In light of the above modern REAL science, read the

Well, I guess the good news is that soon a simple PILL will be able to
"purge the evil of gluttony from the midst" of the Christians, so they no
longer have to KILL THEIR OWN KIDS for overeating. Oh, but I forgot! That
was the "Freddy Krueger" god of the Old Testament, and not the loving Jesus
of the New, the Jesus who tosses millions of people into hell.
Once again, we see the "just" Biblegod doing something that modern science
has shown is actually MOST unjust- condemning people for the genetic code they
were born with. Biblegod may as well send roses to hell for having thorns.

Please- No More Gay Movies

Introduction: First off, I have
nothing against gay people. I have friends who are gay, relatives
who are gay. Hell, my best friend back in high school was gay.
As far as I'm concerned, homophobic Fundies like Pat Robertson and
Jimmy "I'll rent a hooker" Swaggart can go to hell. That said, I
like gay people. I do not, however, like seeing them waste their
money investing in gay movies. If they want to throw their money
away, be like everyone else and go to Las Vegas. This short essay is
an attempt to help them save their money.

A lot of people who work in the movie industry,
write screenplays and movie scripts, live in West Hollywood,
California. West Hollywood, for those of you who don't know, is gay.
Very gay. If you are a writer living in West Hollywood, all your
neighbors are gay, the mail man is gay, the clerk at the local 7-11
is gay, and if you have gold fish, they're probably gay too. It's a
very gay place. To these writers, as far as they can see on a clear
day, the entire world looks gay. Because of that, and because
people tend to write about that which they're familiar, Hollywood
seems to crank out about one or two gay films a month. These gay
movies are a big hit in West Hollywood, but tend to go straight to
video everywhere else. You would think Hollywood would get the hint
by now, but it seems that most don't learn from history. So the
latest gay movie to emerge from West Hollywood is a movie about gay
cowboys called "Brokeback Mountain".
I am not gay, but I am an Atheist, as are about 15% of Americans.
Most Americans find Atheism offensive, and any films or politicians
who pushed or glorified it would bomb, or get bombed- literally.
Therefore, a film about Atheists is probably the last thing I would
ever consider investing money in. Gays are an even smaller minority
than Atheists, at about 3% of the population. If Hollywood has the
common sense to not make movies about Atheism, then why do they keep
cranking out movies gays? Do they like losing money and wasting
their time? As for being offensive, gayness outweighs Atheism many
times over. If movies that only appeal to 15% of Americans would
bomb, how much more so those that appeal to only 3%??? Those
who make gay movies need to get out of West Hollywood long enough to
get a feeling for Mr. Average Joe Sixpack living in the Red States,
whom they expect by the millions to be buying tickets to see their
gay movies. While watching two gay cowboys get naked, rub
their oily bodies together, French kiss and hump each other- while
this might get the average resident of West Hollywood all hot and
hard, to Joe Sixpack (the target audience) it is about as appealing
as watching someone throw up onto their dinner plate and then have
someone else lick it off while finger nails screetch down a black
board and Roseanne Barr sings the National Anthem at 120 db. Did I
make myself clear? Let me try again: for MOST Americans, watching,
or even thinking about, two men sucking and fucking each other, this
makes them want to THROW UP- it makes them literally PHYSICALLY
SICK
TO THEIR STOMACHS. Trust them when they tell you this- take the
hint- I am NOT exaggerating to make a point. Given that, how many
Joe Sixpack Americans will want to see your gay movies? About the
same number of Muslims in Saudi Arabia that would go see a
pro-Israel movie: ZERO. How many sane people want to pay good
money at a movie theater so they can get morally outraged, or sick
and throw up into their popcorn bags? Yes, to West Hollywood it's a
beautiful thing (the movie, not the vomit-corn) and they're all in
love with each other etc etc, but the vast majority of non-gay
Americans ARE NOT YOU and have a very different
reaction, a reaction that comes from deep within their gut and over
which they have NO control. So come on, gay people, you're smarter
than this. You know not many Americans will want to see this gay
cowboy movie. They'd rather listen to Roseanne Barr.

The Bibles stance on gays...
God loves all people and has a desire that all would come to know Him and obey
and worship Him. Because He is perfect in Love, He has given us the opportunity
to choose to follow His commands or not, and as such, "All have sinned and
fallen short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23 None of us are perfect, but at
some point God can give people over to their own lust and desires. In the Bible
it says "they exchanged natural
relations for unnatural ones and the men became inflamed with lust for
other men and the women also had
unnatural relations with other women." So the deal is, maybe as apart of
Gods wrath, some become perverse and are
seemingly "born gay." The fact of the matter is, just like me being born
straight, it's not right for me to have sex with any girl I want, I need to save
that for just one woman, my wife, and avoid sexual temptation. If they have gay
feelings, they need to have self control and get help. I know that you have a
hard time with this argument because you don't believe in God, but that's the
fact of what we believe, so to hurl a attacking statement in a cowardly way at
us on your website and not telling it like it is, you show your ignorance once
again and need to thing through your hate statement toward what we really think.

Brent, there is "nothing" about being "born" gay that "you" need to "put" in
quotes as if the "jury" is still out on the verdict. Some people are B-O-R-N
gay. That is scientific FACT, and not something that you should mockingly
put in quotes.
What I would like to see you xtians address is the
topic of GAY ANIMALS. Please explain that one. IF being gay is against
nature (as your quote from the Apostle Paul says above), they explain how in
nature homosexuality doesn't just exists, it ABOUNDS. Anyone who's
ever owned a dog has seen boy dogs try to get it on with other boy dogs-
hell, those horny hounds will even try to get it on with your leg if you
stand still. This being the case (and please, don't insult my intelligence
and claim it isn't), how can a NATURAL behavior be UN-NATURAL???? Or are you
going to claim that gay activists snuck in and "converted" billions of
straight dogs into being gay dogs???
