So Who Is On Top ?
Gender War

In some, if not most religions, to be a woman is to be relegated to the
position of someone who does the grunt work, on the sidelines. Not quite a
person but, if not there, the whole system falls to pieces.
In the Hebrew Bible, the First Woman is penalized for wanting to have
Knowledge. Knowledge is power. Her mistake was sharing it with Adam. Perhaps, if
she had not, Adam might've needed another wife. Made from a bone in the foot,
perhaps? The better to stomp on her? No freethinkers allowed in Eden. It's
either God's way, or the highway. Most fundamental movements have a list of what
is uh, fundamental. Close to the top, is the insistence that everybody knows
their place: Males on top of women. Them and Us. Them women. Always getting
uppity. Thinking they is people, worthy of being equal, or superior of men! Oh,
and control of their own body? I think that abortion is wrong, but. If you
aren't supposed to make decisions about your own body, like preventative birth
control, how could you make decisions about anything else? A young woman should
not be pushed to have sex, or marriage before she is ready in her mind. Too soon
is worse then not at all. 'Old enough to bleed, old enough to breed'?
Considering, that, in 'Bible' times, up to maybe a hundred years ago, girls
didn't start their cycles until maybe fourteen, or later. These days, younger
then that. I don't care WHAT the bible says: Even fourteen is too young to have
sex, let alone have children! Yes, I think abstinence is a good idea, but. It
didn't help the Virgin Mary when 'Biblegod' decided he wanted to use her for a surrogate
womb. If Joseph, her husband to be hadn't been a good man, she would've been in
a rock concert. In those days, it was only the men who could end a marriage. If
a man beat up his wife every day, she was shit out of luck. People would say
'oh, it was her fault. She shouldn't have forgotten to bow down, and call him
'Master'.' Even if he did divorce her, all she'd get was maybe the clothes on
her back. The dowry would probably go back to the father of the woman.
Let's talk about the man with the concubine. While visiting her father, a
gang of men from the town come by, and want to have male dominant sex with him.
What do her father, and lover do? They push her outside so she could get raped
instead of the sacred man. Why does the woman have to be the sacrificial lamb?
Like Jephnah's daughter. Maybe he should've told God to 'fuck himself' he wasn't
gonna do that to his own daughter. What's a broken promise to a deity compared
to his flesh and blood child? No reprieve for girl children. What sort of deity
gives a child, then demands it back? Isn't that a waste of effort? Maybe that's
what abortions are. Giving back to God. Supposedly, He has a plan for every
little fetus. A verse in Psalms says 'Beautifully, and wondrously made'.
Something like that, implying that God knows all the inner workings of your
body. Maybe he doesn't. Maybe he doesn't give a shit. Why do children have to
pay for their parents' sins? AIDS babies. Crack babies. Fetal Alcohol Syndrome.
Maybe birth defects are just the luck of the draw. Maybe God should get on the
stick, and help the children. Did they ask to be conceived?
Maybe in a 'new age' way of thinking. But, if you don't remember why, and how
this decision was made, and you're a totally different person, how does that
decision really pertain to you?
Let's talk about the Church Fathers. There is enough documentation to suggest
that if they had the technology to procreate without the woman being involved,
they would've done it. Women would be an endangered group. Heterosexuality would
be frowned on. From Paul, to Augustine, to Luther; it was men GOOD, women EVIL.
No matter what a woman did, or looked like, the old poops faulted her for it, inferring
she had ulterior motives; to seduce holy men. Give me a break! Why would anybody
WANT to have anything to do with those mentally constipated ascetics? Money? The
only game in town? Knocking people off pedestals? The only way a woman could get
good with those anal warts, was to be 'super virgin'. Sex BAD. Pleasure BAD.
Torturing yourself, (and others), GOOD. Flesh EVIL. Holy men? There's no
pleasing them.
I do have to say that if there is one extreme, there has to be another. Just
trying to be fair about this. I don't want to castrate any males. A PENIS IS NO
GOOD UNLESS IT'S ATTACHED TO A GOOD MAN.

The perceived 'society' has the white male on top. Well, things are
achangin'. About time. But, I have to inject a word of caution.
Not
all white males benefited from the patriarchy. Not all females are
benefiting from the push to get women 'out of the house'. People
should have equal opportunity, but everyone is not the same as everyone
else. No one should be penelized for having different interests from
others in their 'subgroup'.

Wicca tries to balance it out, but, then, the Goddess comes across as Joe
Hovah with a sex change. Does one inequality cancel out another?
