Introduction}  Christians were noticeably absent from making many public comments immediately following the September 11th terrorist attacks. They knew the question that was on everyone's mind: Where was God? Well, he was in the same place as Santa, the Easter Bunny, and the Tooth Fairy: the fantasyland that exists within people's minds. Fact is, the Christians had no good explanation, and still don't. But that hasn't stopped them from hijacking the entire episode and perverting it into something to promote even more religion as the solution, as if religion wasn't the cause of the tragedy in the first place. The media as usual has sucked up to the religionists, and thus I feel compelled to speak out on the behalf of common sense.

You say you will never forget where you were when you heard the news on September 11, 2001. Neither will I.

I was on the 110th floor in a smoke filled room with a man who called his wife to say "Good-Bye." I held his fingers steady as he dialed. I gave him the peace to say, "Honey, I am not going to make it, but it is OK...I am ready to go."

Comments:     Well gee, thanks alot for holding my fingers steady, but it would have been even peachier if you had given me a goddamn parachute, or is that too much to ask from an almighty deity??? Was "holding my fingers" the best idea you could come up with? If a New York fireman had managed to reach me, do you think he would have held my fingers steady, or gotten me out of the damn building before it collapsed? You knew the right thing to do- get me out of the goddamn building- but did it not, therefore you are a sinner, according to your own damn Bible!!!  (James 4:17 KJV)

NOTE:    This line of the lyrics blows away the Christian claim that Biblegod is unable to actually DO anything "cause that would be interfering in the affairs and freewill of men." IF Biblegod was able to "steady his fingers" (a physical in-our-world action) then he was just as able to pick him up and gently place him on the ground. What we have here is a clear example of the type of doublethink Christians regularly engage in. 

Biblegod can do nothing because he can't interfere with freewill.

Biblegod can do something in answer to prayer, so we pray.

Conclusion: Biblegod can/cannot do something, = doublethink.

I was with his wife when he called as she fed breakfast to their children. I held her up as she tried to understand his words and as she realized he wasn't coming home that night.

Comments:    Well, he could have been home that night for dinner, if YOU had done something other than hold his finger, you dumbass deity!!!!  But I guess that was the best you could come up with, eh??? Instead, because of your stupidity, she's a widow and the kids are missing a father. Couldn't you have given the terrorists a flat tire on the way to the airport? Couldn't you have unplugged their alarm clocks while they slept? Couldn't you have done any of a million things that a mere child could have thought of, that would have prevented this tragedy in the first place? Yes, you could have- IF you had been real. The fact that nothing was done proves the fact that Biblegod himself is nothing.

I was in the stairwell of the 23rd floor when a woman cried out to Me for help. "I have been knocking on the door of your heart for 50 years!" I said. "Of course I will show you the way home - only believe in Me now."

Comments:     And what kind of help did you give her? Did you carry her down the stairs, as any one of us would have done? No, you left her there to die. You left her there to be flattened like a bug under a truck tire. You ignored her cries for help and just left her there. IF you were real, you should be put on trial for criminal negligence. Since you were already having a conversation with her, couldn't you have at least TOLD her how to get out of the building???

I was at the base of the building with the Priest ministered to the injured and devastated souls. I took him home to tend to his Flock in Heaven. He heard my voice and answered.

I was on all four of those planes, in every seat, with every prayer. I was with the crew as they were overtaken. I was in the very hearts of the believers there, comforting and assuring them that their faith has saved them.

Comments:     Oh yeah, you were there all right. Belief in you is what caused all this mess in the first place. You were there in the 19 hijackers, inspiring them to willingly sacrifice their lives in your honor. You were the one they prayed to in the last seconds before they flew the planes into the buildings. You were also the one who the passengers prayed to for help. Apparently, you were only answering prayers from Muslim fanatics that day- the Christian prayers for help were put on hold. Thanks alot, Biblegod, Allah, Jehovah, and whatever other alias you go by.

I was in Texas, Kansas, London. I was standing next to you when you heard the terrible news. Did you sense Me? I want you to know that I saw every face. I knew every name - though not all know Me.

Some met Me for the first time on the 86th floor. Some sought Me with their last breath. Some couldn't hear Me calling to them through the smoke and flames; "Come to Me... this way... take my hand." Some chose, for the final time, to ignore Me. But, I was there.

Comments:     And why not? Maybe they could see the kind of "help" you were giving your Christians that day and decided with gods like that, who needs devils??? Why pray to a do-nothing god? As it is, your "loving followers" as well as the Atheists in that building, all ended up with the same fate. In the words of the Janet Jackson song, "What Have You Done For Me Lately?". 

I did not place you in the Tower that day. You may not know why, but I do. However, if you were there in that explosive moment in time, would you have reached for Me?

Comments:     Oh here we go again! "It's a mystery!!!" Any time Christians can't answer a rational question or make sense of their nonsense religion, they just throw their hands up in the air and exclaim "It's a mystery!" and with that we're supposed to swallow any crap they want to shove down our throats. Yet these same assholes will mock evolutionary scientists who sometimes in scientific honesty have to admit that they don't know all the answers. They even try to use this as "proof" that evolution is false. Once again, Christian doublethink. It's okay for Christians to admit ignorance, but not anyone else.

September 11, 2001 was not the end of the journey for you. But someday your journey will end. And I will be there for you as well. Seek Me now while I may be found. Then, at any moment, you know you are "ready to go."

Comments:     Here we find a root cause of WHY the hijackers did what they did: a belief in the afterlife. The same thing that motivated the terrorists to do what they did is what motivates Christians to remain Christians. You will never find any Atheists flying planes into buildings in order to "go to heaven". Religion, and it's unsupported absurd beliefs, is what killed over 3,000 people in New York City on September 11, 2001. The only way to prevent subsequent attacks is to attack the root cause: religion. Religion is the cause, not the answer, to the problem.

I will be in the stairwell of your final moments.

Regarding 9-11

God Bless America! 
(But Please, Not As You "Blessed America" on September 11th!)

With so many of my fellow Americans slapping  "God Bless America" decals all over everything, it makes me stop and wonder. I wonder about the poor quality of "Blessing America" Biblegod did on September 11th, 2001, as he sat on his holy hemorrhoids and did nothing to "bless" America. Seeing how he did such a piss-poor job at "blessing" us then, what makes these God Blessers think he'd do any better in the future?

Let's say you're the guy in the neighborhood with the pool. Last Saturday, you asked your neighbor Joe Hovah to be the lifeguard for all the neighborhood kids as they swam, so you could run to the store for a six pack. When you got back, ambulances were leaving your house. It turns out that four kids had drowned while you were gone. It also turns out that Joe Hovah had witnessed the whole thing, and just let it happen. He sat there, watched the kids struggle to stay above water, watched each kid go under, and didn't even get out of his seat. He even filmed the whole thing with his camcorder while it was happening, so he could enjoy watching it again and again.

If you were to ever again ask Joe Hovah to be lifeguard for the kids in the pool, you'd be considered a fool who doesn't learn from his mistakes. Yet this is exactly the same mistake Christians of America are making with their Biblegod. They are asking this do-nothing god to do what he was too lazy or stupid to do on September 11th; that it, "bless America". For on September 11th,  Biblegod knew the right thing to do, the good thing, and he did it not.

Therefore to him that knoweth to do good,
